It will absolutely fascinating to see what President Obama says to congress tomorrow. Public option or no? I think yes. A health care reform bill without a public option (or at least the trigger of a public option) doesn’t seem like it would be worth the effort for what he wants to accomplish, which isn’t really ‘reform’ but rather a health care ‘coup’. It’s about the power.

WASHINGTON (AP) – Americans would be fined up to $3,800 for failing to buy health insurance under a plan that circulated in Congress on Tuesday as President Barack Obama met Democratic leaders to search for ways to salvage his health care overhaul.
